Strong imagery is needed in catching the eye of people when it comes to promotion of events. Vaughan Keal + Associates also undertake graphic design, for promotional literature such as the poster design here.

Using a striking colour palette, controlled, and a striking image, it was designed to convey the high emotion of the piece and themes of life & death. Verdi's Requiem is as dramatic as a piece of music could possibly be, to celebrate a life at the parting in death. We ask questions at such times, like why are we here, what is our purpose, have I done what I would have liked, did I fulfil my dreams? The power of the wave is to signify the heightened moment, of the big questions asked as well as the drama in the music. The wave ls also painted by Vaughan Keal, an equally dramatic oil six feet wide by 3 feet tall in original form, it is entitled "We watch in Awe". We can imagine being there shore-side, near open-mouthed in such moments feeling the power of nature. Equally it conveys the message, 'We listen in Awe' to the mighty work of Verdi.
